First Position Triads for the Key of E
What do we mean by "First Position"? - What we mean is the three string versions (on the E-B-G strings) closest to the nut, of the chord set I-IV-V-vi(minor) for the key of E.
These chords are basically 3 string versions of the chords we are used to playing in the "open" position..
E - the I Chord

A - the IV Chord

B - the V Chord

C#m - the vi (relative minor)
