First Position Triads for the Key of D

What do we mean by "First Position"? - What we mean is the three string versions (on the E-B-G strings) closest to the nut, of the chord set I-IV-V-vi(minor) for the key of D.

These chords are basically 3 string versions of the chords we are used to playing in the "open" position..

D - the I Chord

G - the IV Chord

A - the V Chord

Bm - the vi minor (relative minor)
